Irish soda bread contest

This Irish Soda Bread Contest is dedicated to the tradition of baking bread leavened with soda instead of yeast. It's free to enter and open to all amateur bakers. Prizes are awarded in each of three categories.

The contest is held each year on a Saturday before St. Patrick's Day. Entries must be dropped off between and at T.S. McHugh's Irish Pub, located at 21 Mercer St. in Seattle, WA (between Queen Anne Ave. N. and 1st Ave. N. in lower Queen Anne). Winners will be announced at . Read the contest rules for details.
